Gaming Just Got Better for your Mental Health

Written by Staff Care Services | Dec 3, 2024 9:53:39 AM

Many people find playing video games a fantastic way to unwind and connect with others.

To capitalise on the huge gaming audience in the UK, SHOUT, have teamed up with Harry’s to launch Talk Squad >> gaming sessions, where you can speak confidentially to one of Shout's mental health professionals while playing a video game together. Find more information here >>.

If you know of a young person (aged 18+) that wants to talk to someone whilst gaming, you can now signpost them to sign up for a 121 session with a SHOUT clinician here >>.

Don’t forget that Staff Care Services, in partnership with SHOUT, also offer young people a free and confidential, 24/7 text messaging service. This service is available to full contract Support Line customers and is designed to support both your staff AND pupils. There are no age restrictions to use this service, the only thing you need is access to a mobile phone. Find out more by visiting your Support Line customer portal
