The team respond to approximately 150 – 200 calls/emails per day and this month Gerri Herbert,Business Support Administrator, shares 5 top tips to check when contacting Staff Care Services Business Support:
1. When referring an employee to Occupational Health, always ensure that you have discussed the content of the referral with your employee prior to submission. It is essential for transparency, that the employee is aware as to why they are being referred.
2. When making a referral, always provide us with the most up-to-date information including the correct email address. All appointment letters are emailed and if the employee is off work we will require their personal email address.
3. When sending a Health Questionnaire to a new employee, always ensure that you complete Part 1 & 2 prior to submitting to the employee (referring to Guidance notes if unsure).
4. Following a consultation, did you know you can find the reports as the referring manager? They are made available to the referring manager (as per the employee’s consent) and can be viewed via your Cority dashboard.
5. If you have a question relating to Cority , make sure you have visited the Cority Hub first. The Cority Info Hub >> includes helpful FAQ’s and guides to support you.
