Staff Care Services are always on the lookout for ways to improve our service which is why we are excited to launch our industry leading OPAS Occupational Health System.
Going live on Wednesday 12th February 2025, the new system has been designed and configured to provide an improved user experience as well, more information for customers through the OH processes and new self-service functionality.
Here are the top 5 improvements and new features of OPAS:
- Employees can now choose their own appointment dates and times meaning less cancelled, rearranged and unsuitable appointments.
- All consent processes from agreeing to the OH appointment to releasing OH reports are fully controlled on system. This helps us ensure a full and thorough audit trail of consent and compliance.
- Real-time timeline to track the progress of work such as management referrals, allowing managers to see where each of their referrals is at any time.
- Improved communication and a system generated notification to managers each time a referral or progresses, meaning less searching for update and more pro-active updates.
- Improved Support Line counselling referral form that directly connects an employee’s request for counselling with the OPAS system. This not only streamlines the counselling referral process but decreases the amount of manual data handling for our team behind the scenes.
For our regular and recent OH system users who have accessed the service in the last 12 months, new log in details and a link to OPAS will be sent directly to you on the 12th February, so keep an eye on your inbox!
